1 1/2 cups flour
1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 cup rye flour
1 beaten egg
1 cup oats
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 cup cornmeal
1 3/4 cups beef or chicken broth
1/4 cup liver powder (found in most
health food stores)
Preheat oven to 300 degrees F.
Mix all dry ingredients in a large
bowl. Add egg, oil, and beef broth. Mix the dough,
adding enough additional flour to make a dough that can be
rolled. On a floured surface, roll to 1/2 inch thickness,
then cut into shapes or squares. Prick with a fork.
Bake for 2 hours. Turn the oven off, and let biscuits stand
in oven overnight to harden. Store in an airtight container.
