1 can of tuna in water (8 oz.)
1 cup cornmeal
2 to 3 cups flour
3/4 cup water
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Drain tuna. Combine cornmeal,
flour, and salt in a large bowl and mix. Add in tuna, water,
egg, and oil. Mix thoroughly. Divide dough in half and
roll onto lightly floured surface to about 1/4 inch
thickness. Cut into 1" squares and put on a greased
baking sheet. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes. Turn over and
bake another 10 to 15 minutes. Store in an airtight
container and refrigerate or freeze. Makes approximately 40 to 60
biscuits.
