Listen with your heart.

Memories are like treasures time cannot take away.

So may we be surrounded by happy ones today.

May all the love and tenderness of golden days and years well spent come back today to fill our hearts with beauty and content.

And may we walk down memory lane and meet the ones we love,
for while we cannot see them, they'll be watching from above....

So, for their sakes, be happy and show them that their love has proven strong enough and big enough to reach down from above.

Robbie with the ball of the day

Sir Robbie of Ronkonkoma
1989 - 2003

Beloved pet of the Summers family (my sister).  Robbie was an avid collector of various colored balls.  He brought his family many years of joy and laughter with his crazy antics.  He even had his own spot at the dinner table!  He had excellent manners and his friendly nature made him a pure treasure.  The neighborhood children couldn't wait to see what Robbie was going to be for Halloween.  Robbie was very photogenic -- he always made sure if there was a picture to be taken at least a little bit of Robbie was in every shot.   His loving spirit and friendly nature will greatly be missed by all.

Beanie Baby
1998 - 2004

Beanie was one of our very favorite girls and was my constant companion.  She was given to us to be placed in a pet home that didn't work out.  We kept her and wished she could have been with us much longer.  She had an insatiable curious nature and many times I would utter an exasperated "Oh Beans."  She had the most unusual coat I've ever seen on a shih tzu.  It was so thick and curly that more than a few times we referred to her as "Brillo" or "Char Baby."  Beanie became ill with lymphosarcoma.  She taught me she had other character traits - courage and strength.  Beans will greatly be missed but I know her spirit will remain with us always.
