We are finally in the
new house!! It has been almost a year since we bought the
property, cleaned it, bulldozed and burned the existing buildings,
poured the basement, moved the house, repainted the entire inside of
the house, and built a huge kennel in the basement area and moved
ALL the furbabies to their new home!! If you are tired reading
this imagine how we feel. We still have to move more things
from the old place to the new place, but we are HERE.
The wonderful people
in the town of Fairmont welcomed us with open arms. When I
told them I groom dogs they were elated. I guess there isn't
really a dog groomer in this area. Oh well, if you need
grooming services, you can call Rose at 402-268-2940.
My furbabies were
very confused where we were taking them and didn't know what to do
with all the new space. We are happy to say they have adjusted
well and enjoy the bigger kennel and playground areas. We
still have to build a big roof over their play area so they can play
rain, snow or shine. Hopefully, it should be done before too
long.
To all of you
interested in one of my furbabies . . . we have babies. During
our move Miss JuGee and Miss Faith had puppies within two days of
each other. There is a grand total of one boy and six
girls. Faith finally gave us three girls and one boy.
In past litters she only produced boys. You should have
seen the look on our faces when the first puppy born was a
girl. A lot of happy hoots and hollers welcomed her into the
world. I also have older boys and girls
(around one to two years old) available. My camera is still at
the old house. Hopefully, I can bring move the doggie stuff to
the new house shortly and get pictures of these adorable furbabies.
We do have one super mini girl I call baby Julie. She is a
smart little thing and is learning to call me when it's feeding
time. The babies are underfoot and my mom is turning out to be
a great babysitter. At this age they are taking turns of
biting each other and playing hard. Sometimes they scream so
loud you would swear someone is doing them bodily harm.
When Rose is not busy
with the four-legged "kids" she is busy hosting and
developing professional websites for small to medium-sized
companies. If you have a small company with a tight budget,
Rose may be able to help you. To see her Businessnet
Consultants website click here.
(P.S. Rose did the Sunnyhill website too!)
For those of you who
remember my daughter Dani, she is doing fantastic!! Her and
her husband Michael bought their first house in Air Park which is
northwest of Lincoln. Also more great news . . . Dani is
grooming again from her home. If you need your pup groomed
give her a call at 402-450-1109. Her house is easy to get to
from Interstate 80. I get to see her more often when I go to
Lincoln because she's right on the way.
