Sushi
Mercedes Derrick Loved
by Margaret Derrick
This April 2006 Sushi will be two years old. Seems like she has been with me for 10 years. As a puppy, she was so intelligent and learned very quickly. I had never been around a puppy like that. Sushi is litter box trained and learned very quickly. She has a huge assortment of stuffed animals and from day one I decided that I would not pick up after her. I trained her to get the stuffed animals that she spreads all over the house and bring them back to her toy box. She loves doing that---gets treat rewards. Sushi is beautiful and very loving. She surprises me every day with a new personality trait. She is so wonderful that I brought home another puppy from Sunnyhill Kennels.

Asia
Imperial Derrick Loved
by Margaret Derrick
Asia is a most beautiful Shih Tzu. She will be two years old in June 2006, and she is still my little baby. She has straight hair, so I let it grow to the floor. It takes a bit longer to groom her daily, but I have all the time in the world, and she is worth it. She looks stunning when I have finished--no thanks to me, but thanks to her breeding. She is a mama's girl and is very dainty and ladylike. When I brought her home, she was in a carrier that had some metal ties for extra security. My sister and I were trying to get them untwisted, in the dark. It was taking us a bit of a long time but Asia just sat there waiting quietly. My sister finally took her new knife out and cut the metal ties! Asia walked out and said "Hello World". She is my pride and joy, but I must say that I love Sushi and Asia equally. When my sister, Diane, is ready for another Shih Tzu (she has a five year old), she knows that we will go to Sunnyhill Kennels. |

Itsy
Bitsy Loved
by the Larson Family
Bitsy and I are happy as ever! : ) She is amazing. I love her so much. She has grown into a wonderful dog and I'm so happy she's part of my life.
Just so you know what Bitsy's like now. . .
She is sooooo smart, and trains very easily. She has always known how to sit. Recently, she learned to lay down and LOVES to practice every day. Next we're going to work on rolling over, and eventually I plan to teach her to put away her toys in her
toybox. I know she can do it because she's such a smart little gal!
She's also very good at communicating. She has her own set of noises and actions that she uses to show me that she has to go outside, wants a treat, needs help getting a toy out from under something, heard a noise and wants to check it out, wants to play, etc. And she LOVES to play. She's the happiest little dog.
Bitsy also likes to go on walks, play with people and dog friends, and cuddle. She's the best
cuddler. She really knows how to say "I love you."
Everyone who knows her loves her and can't get enough of her. Everyone who meets her thinks she's just the greatest!
I often think of the day I brought Bits home. We've both been so happy ever since. And I've told so many people about
Sunnyhill. I think the fact that Bitsy came from a good breeder has so much to do with the fact that she's a great and healthy dog. |

Koda Loved
by the Davis Family
As you can see, he
is totally adorable and a little chubby! We just love
him! He loves cat food and
will try to eat it when ever he can! Of course, cat food is
a big "NO NO" for him but he still tries! He still stays
in the playpen when no one is at home and at night. He has never
even tried to chew out of it. I feel better putting him in
there verses putting him in a carrier as I feel he has more room
to move around in the playpen. He is very quiet and hardly
barks unless he wants in the house after a "break".
We call him "grumble butt" cause he will stand at the
front door and "grumble" when he wants to go out.
